The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has delivered its first “fully loaded truck of rice and other food items to the vulnerable people in Biafra-land amid coronavirus lockdown by the federal government of Nigeria
“Fully loaded truck of rice and other food items arrived in Biafra land as palliative awaiting disbursement to the people” of Biafrans, Family Writers press International reports.
They said, ever since its existence, IPOB have been so kind and extending help to the people of Biafra and to the families of those who have paid the ultimate price with their lives for others to live.
This same movement have once again proved the Igbo (Proverb) that say “Onuru ube nwanne Agbanaoso” (Which means don’t walk away when your brother is in distress) especially on the stay at home exercise in the face of this ravaging COVID-19 pandemic across the world.
Recall that the Biafra leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Radio Biafra London broadcast had pledged the whooping sum of N300 million contingency, N50 Million approved on behalf of IPOB to fight coronavirus pandemic and to provide food to the vulnerable in Biafra land.
The arrival of loaded trucks of foodstuff in Biafra land has shown the world at large that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)despite limited resources have done what Nigeria government is finding difficult to do for the poor masses affected with the lockdown it stated.
