#EndSARS: UN condemns #LekkiMasscre, says perpetrators will be hold accountable

Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres has condemned the killings of #EndSARS peaceful protesters by the Nigerian Army.

He also demanded that the Authorities must investigate these incidents and hold perpetrators accountable and wants an end to reported police brutality and abuses.

Soldiers had open fire at #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Toll gate in Lagos killing at least dozens and injuring many others who are protesting end to police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria

Guterres made the statement on October 21, 2020 via his twitter handle obtained by NN News also call for demonstrations to be peaceful.
