Senator Andy Ubah, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was trashed in the just concluded Anambra governorship election by professor Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has exchanged banter with a Facebooker who told him point blank that Anambra is not Imo State after he expressed intention to challenge Soludo’s victory at the electoral tribunal
Senator Andy Ubah in an appreciation message said that having met with his team, party hierarchy and analyse data from their field officers, preliminary check shows that the party has the evidence to challenge INEC declaration of Soludo as winner of the election at the tribunal
But reacting to Senator Andy Ubah’s intention to challenge INEC decision, a Facebooker with the name, Prince Mbamalu Anthony Iyke urged Andy Ubah to clear from the road as he has been beaten hands down
He said Andy Ubah can go to any court he wishes but they are ready for him.
He further said that what is encouraging Andy Ubah to threaten court action is because of what transpired in Imo State, but Ubah should not think Anambra is Imo State.
“Onye Akpalu Ochaa N’ Uzo. Go To Any Court You Wish To Go We Are Always Prepare. What Is Encouraging You Is Because Of What Happened In Imo State And You Think Anambra State Is Imo State.
While responding to the statement of the Facebooker, Andy Ubah reminded him that in 2006, Peter Obi came through the Supreme Court to remove Ngige as the executive governor.
He also said that in 2007, 17 days after he was sworn in as the governor of Anambra state, Obi also came through the Supreme Court to remove him.
He said that despite his removal by the Supreme Court, he did not die, rather he moved on with life.
Senator Andy Ubah however said that Anambra State have been inviting Judicial intervention in her electoral processes
He said, “Prince Mbamalu Anthony Iyke Not at all. It is about what we know after our preliminary examination.
“Be also informed that in 2006, Peter Obi came through Supreme Court to remove Ngige as a governor in Anambra State. Be told that in 2007, 17days after I was sworn in as the governor of Anambra State, Obi came through Supreme Court to remove me. I did not die, I moved on. So before Imo, Anambra State have been inviting Judicial intervention in her electoral processes.
