Reno Omokri, former Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has called on the International criminal court (ICC) to join social media giant Twitter to prevent Nigerian president Mohammadu Buhari second genocide against the Igbo in south eastern Nigeria.
Buhari, had tweeted on Tuesday that many people misbehaving today were too young to remember the deaths and destruction from the civil war. “Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand,” he warned in the tweet that was taken down.
However, twitter said Buhari’s tweet, referring to the 1967-70 civil war in the southeastern Biafra region that killed 1 million people, violated its “abusive behaviour” policy leading to a 12-hour suspension of his account.
Omokri reacting wrote;
Dear International @IntlCrimCourt, Please be on standby to issue indictments against @MBuhari and his co-conspirators, if they actualise their plan to “treat them (Igbos) in the language they understand”. Genocide must be prevented in Nigeria’s SE #TwitterSuspendBuharisAccount
He also urged every non-Igbo to stand against General MBuhari plots and his agenda to executes genocide against the Igbos, saying, if you stand by and watch, there will be no one alive to stand by you when Buhari plots his genocide agenda against your own ethnic nationality.
