Southern govs to meet at Enugu on Thursday | NN NEWS

The 17 Southern Nigerian Governors Forum will again meet in Enugu State on Thursday.

The governors had banned open grazing in their first meeting in Asaba, Delta state, although most of them are yet to implement the ban in their states. 

Another meeting were held in Lagos state, were the governors also demanded the presidency of southern Nigeria extraction in 2023. 

According to a statement by Enugu state government said;  

The 17 Governors of Southern Nigeria will on Thursday, September 16, 2021, converge on Enugu State, for their third meeting this year.  

The meeting being hosted by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi holds at the Government House, Enugu.  

It would be recalled that the first and second meetings of the Southern Governors, which deliberated on regional and national issues, were held in Delta and Lagos states, respectively.
