US recognize Dr. Onyema Ogbuagbu who helped develop COVID-19 vaccine

The attached picture is that of Dr. Onyema Ogbuagbu, a Nigerian who helped develop COVID-19 vaccine.

Acknowledging Dr. Ogbuagbu, the U.S. Mission Nigeria noted that “Nigerians contribute to the world in so many ways.”

The Mission doffed hats to Dr. Onyema Ogbuagbu, an Associate Professor of Medicine and Infectious Disease at Yale School of Medicine for his contribution to develop a COVID-19 vaccine!

In a brief introductory statement, the Mission wrote of Ogbuagbu:

Recognition of excellence

Dr. Onyema Ogbuagbu, a Nigerian doctor, helped the drug company Pfizer develop the first effective COvid-19 vaccine in the United States.

Onyema is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Infectious Disease at Yale School of Medicine.

He graduated with a degree in medicine from the University of Calabar in 2003.

An incredible contribution to ending this worldwide pandemic!
